DESCRIPTION:On July 19th at 10:00 am we will be hiking from Dennis Weaver Park into the town of Ridgway to learn more about the filming of the movie “True Grit” and see familiar sites where John Wayne took on his role as Rooster Cogburn. This hike is a leisurely pace and handicapped accessible. If you need transportation to the hike\, please contact the museum for questions\, limited rides are available.
