He will be at the Museum to discuss his findings as well as the paleontology of Western Colorado. The amazing fossils collected over the years paint a fascinating picture of life and death in this long ago time.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, February 18th for our Historic Pub Crawl.  Stops will include the Cornerhouse Grille\, The Sheridan Bar\, Honga’s\, and the Last Dollar Saloon.  Come learn the history of these popular establishments\, hear and share stories from days of yore\, and enjoy great refreshments and even better company.  Tickets are $35 and include guided tour\, 4 drinks\, and raffle tickets.  Participants will meet at the Cornerhouse Grille (131 N. SUMMARY:Snowshoe Tour: Fire on the Mountain
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this two-mile downhill snowshoe tour along the Ridge Trail\, as Telluride Adventure Center guide Eric Jorgensen discusses how fires\, logging\, agriculture\, and mining in the area have influenced the forest we see today and how contemporary decisions set the trajectory for the forests of the future! \nParticipants meet at 10:30am at the Telluride Adventure Center and will return by 1:30pm. The TAC is located in the glass house on the top of the Gondola Plaza stairs in Mountain Village. Please dress warmly and bring your own snacks\, water\, sunscreen. \nTickets include snowshoe rental\, foot passenger ticket\, and free admission to the Telluride Historical Museum. Space is limited.
