SUMMARY:July 4th Festivities at the Museum
DESCRIPTION:It wouldn’t be the Fourth in Telluride without the Museum’s annual tradition… \nAll day long the Telluride Historical Museum will be offering free admission. Donations are greatly appreciated. \nBeginning after the parade we will once again be doing our Root Beer Fundraiser. $5 for a Smuggler Union Restaurant and Brewery root beer float. New this year\, artist and writer Brandon Berkel will be joining us with his project Tell I Write Telegrams. Brandon merges his writing skills and artistic talents by crafting unique and personal notes to send to friends and family near and far.  Each Telegram is typed out on one of Brandon’s postcard pieces of art.  This is a great activity while you’re waiting for a root beer float.  Prices vary. \nRoot beer was generously donated by Smuggler Union Restaurant and Brewery and ice cream donated by Telluride’s Shell station. Please thank these great local business for their support of the Museum by supporting them! \n  \n
