A long-time visitor to Telluride, Kathy moved here in 1999. Originally an East Coast native, she was drawn to Telluride when her fiancé took an Outward Bound course in Silverton in the 1970s. Married, they finished building a house on Iron Springs Mesa in 2005. Kathy worked in IT with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and as a librarian/network technician at the Mark Twain Library in Redding, CT. She has two grown children and one terrier, Hobson. Her hobbies include writing, gardening, hiking and cross country skiing. She is training as a runner and can’t get enough of Telluride history.
