HARC Walking Tour
The Telluride Historical Museum will partner with the Historic Architectural Review Commission to offer complimentary tours of the historic Town of Telluride each month. Ever wondered why the town looks the way it does or what historic preservation is and why it's so important? This is the program for you. The tours will take place the last Friday of each month and will depart from the Museum at 2PM. The first tour will be on June 29th.

Eagle Rockshelter and 13,000 Years of Living Well on the Western Slope. Along with the Telluride Institute, the Telluride Historical Museum is co-hosting retired BLM archaeologist Glade Hadden of Delta, Colorado. Hadden uncovered the Eagle Rockshelter on the Gunnison River in Delta County, the oldest archaeological site in Colorado. The site uncovered artifacts to demonstrate near-continuous indigenous habitation of the Western Slope for 130 centuries. For our last day open of the summer we are offering all patrons to pay what they want for admission! We'll be open from 1:00 p.m.-5:00p.m. and anyone visiting can choose their own admission price. After that we'll close our doors for fall and will re-open December 4th. (But come see us for our Haunted Hospital on Halloween night, October 31st). Halloween on the Hill
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 31st for Halloween on the Hill. The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. where every house on N. Fir will have a Halloween Host passing out candy.
