Chasing Ghosts: A Mountain Bike Ride with Butch Cassidy and the New Wild Bunch

Join us for an extraordinary talk on the life and legacy of Butch Cassidy from professor of History, Dr. Andrew Gulliford (Fort Lewis College) and adventurer Brett Davis. This presentation is about a modern-day crew of adventurers who go back in time to the age of the western outlaw seeking to find the ghosts of Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch by visiting their old haunts.  Along the way, they explore both the real and imagined lore of this age in hopes of understanding the allure such times continue to have on the American psyche.

This presentation is hosted at the Madeline Hotel in Mountain Village and Begins at 6:00 pm. This event is free to the public.
