Celebrate Telluride as a Place of Invention: film screening of “Hydro Power” and student presentations

January 13, 2015 @ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM MST

Free

Join the Museum and The Pinhead Institute as we celebrate Telluride as a “Place of Invention” with an advanced screening of Rocky Mountain PBS’ “Hydro Power” and student presentations!

Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Sheridan Opera House. A FREE event!

In 2013, the Museum and The Pinhead Institute were selected by the Smithsonian’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation to participate in a groundbreaking exhibit, “Places of Invention,” set to open at the National Museum of American History July 1, 2015.

This special event will use the ground-breaking hydroelectric project at Ames in 1891, as the focal point for its contribution to “Places of Invention.”

Thank you to our program partners!
