Hike into History: Basic Wilderness Response with Kevin Dunkak of CPRWorld

Meet at the Telluride Historical Museum

Join the Telluride Museum and Kevin Dunkak of CPRWorld for a combination of history and basic wilderness response. Start at the town’s historic hospital (now museum) and consider what life was like in rugged historic Telluride, then hike the Jud Weibe Trail to Owl Gulch (Clay’s Way) loop while you learn skills touching on water filtration, environmental emergencies and more. This hike includes moderate to difficult terrain. Pre-registration is encouraged. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours. Bring sun protection, plenty of water, and a light lunch or snacks.
