Hike into History: Liberty Bell Mine

June 25, 2016 @ 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM MDT

$15 – $20

Join local historian Todd Brown for a hike to Liberty Bell Mine, north of Telluride. The Liberty Bell was once one of the largest mining camps around Telluride, and the site of the deadliest natural disaster in Telluride’s history. Explore the ruins of this overlooked and hard-to-find gem.

This is a steep and strenuous hike. Participants should be in good physical condition and bring a snack, hat, sunscreen, and extra layers – including rain protection.

To purchase tickets, call (970) 728-3344 or stop at the Museum.
