Meet in Lawson Hill at the Park & Ride Lot

Local naturalist and historian John Sir Jesse will be leading a Hike into History at Lizard Head to explore the history of the railroad and the Ames Power Plant. This is an easy/moderate hike. Snacks, water, and proper footwear are recommended. Meet at the Park & Ride Lot in Lawson Hill (130 Society Dr., Telluride, CO). Carpooling is encouraged as there will be several stops along the way. Excursion will be about 4 hours long.
