Hike into History: Ames Hydro Power
With Rudy Davison
This tour will take approximately 5 hours and is a moderate hike combined with driving portions.
The tour will be carpooling from the Museum to the Ames Power Plant for a behind the scenes tour. Then we will caravan to the top of Lizard Head pass and walk down to the old RGS Railroad bed and on to the trestle at the south end of the lake.
Participants should bring water, snacks, lunch, and rain and sun protection.
