More about Tom NadingTom Nading photo

After studying the piano and trombone through elementary school, Tom Nading picked up the guitar at 11, and guitars have been his greatest fascination ever since. In high school, he began collecting and researching new and vintage guitars and guitar equipment. After graduating from college in 2010, his passion for skiing prompted a relocation to Telluride where he found employment at Telluride Music Co. As the store manager of Telluride Music, Tom specializes in identifying and evaluating rare and vintage instruments. His favorite guitars are Fender electrics and the “banner” Gibson flattops built during World War II. Born and raised in Greensboro, N.C., he has a B.A. in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill.
