The Telluride Historical Museum will reopen for the 2025 summer season on Monday, June 2. Summer hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm (last admission at 4:30pm). Saturdays are free for Telluride locals.
“You Are Here: Opportunity, Exploration, and Endurance in the San Juan Mountains” will open to the public with a free opening reception on June 6th, 2024 at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome to come celebrate the new exhibit.

Join the Telluride Historical Museum for a special event celebrating Schmid Ranch. Established in 1882, this 900-acre Wilson Mesa property is one of the last surviving multi-generation working ranches on the Western Slope. Marvin Schmid & Kayla Schmid Brack will be sharing stories, video, and answering questions about their historic family homestead on Wilson Mesa and the process of preserving this important piece of Colorado agricultural history.
