Remembrance Day: A Celebration of Life and History

September 6, 2019 @ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM MDT

The Telluride Historical Museum in partnership with the Lone Tree Cemetery Board is hosting Remembrance Day, an immersive evening of storytelling to celebrate Lone Tree Cemetery and notable Telluride residents interred within this historic and essential landmark.

Guests, visitors, and cemetery supporters will have the chance to interact with historical characters to learn the fascinating tales of the earliest residents who lived, worked, and died here as well as celebrate and honor recent community members we have lost including: Elaine Fischer, John Micetic, John McCarron and others.

Enjoy food and drink from Rustico and Clark’s Market while you explore the cemetery experiencing Telluride’s legacy from mining history through more modern times presented by special guests, family members and loved ones.

All proceeds benefit the Lone Tree Cemetery Preservation Fund and donations are greatly appreciated. The cemetery board requests all guests to donate $20 for entry, and will graciously accept gifts from those who cannot attend.  Donations can be mailed to:
