Historical Walking Tours of Telluride – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1pm

Historical Walking Tours with Ashley Boling are back! Hear the tales and see the sights on this lively tour about town. Join longtime local, performer, and community historian Ashley Boling as he recounts the people, events, and buildings that make Telluride unique.

Ashley has been giving engaging historical walking tours of Telluride for more than 20 years and his innate enthusiasm for history and natural gift for storytelling will have you entertained for the complete hour and fifteen minute tour of town. Learn about some of Telluride’s most notable citizens and famous stories and see where Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank!

Museum Now Open for the 2023 Summer Season!

The Telluride Historical Museum is open for the summer season at 10am on Thursday, June 1st! 

Take a break from your summer hikes to come learn about the history that makes Telluride so unique. Our newest exhibit, Festival Capital of the Rockies, explores the 50 year history of festivals in Telluride and their critical role in shaping Telluride’s vibrant character and community. The exhibit will be opening on June 8, 2023. 

Admission is free for locals each Saturday throughout the season.
