Museum Opening for Winter Season on December 16th

The Telluride Historical Museum is excited to announce that it is opening for the Winter Season on Wednesday, December 16th at 11:00AM.

As was the case in the summer, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, visitation this winter will be via reserved, timed entry slot.  Appointments will be available Wednesdays through Saturdays beginning at 11:00AM.  The last appointment on open days will be at 4:15PM.

The Museum will also be closing early on Christmas Eve (December 24th) and New Years Eve (December 31st).  On those days, the final appointment will be at 2:00 PM.  In addition, we will be closed on Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Years Day (January 1st).

Please use the web form on our “Visit” page or call (970) 728-3344 to book your reserved entry slot.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you at the Museum this winter!

Museum To Remain Closed

Due to the local increase in COVID-19 cases and the County’s raising of the COVID threat level to the red stage, the Museum will be delaying its reopening plans until further notice.  Likewise, we are also temporarily suspending private visitation opportunities as well while we assess how we can reopen in the safest manner possible.

There is a chance, however, that we may be able to offer private visitation of the Museum in the near future.  If you have interest in visiting the Museum, please email info@telluridemuseum.org and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your patience and understanding.  The health and safety of our staff, visitors, and community are of the utmost importance to the Museum.
