Special for Telluride Horror Show Attendees!
Join us on Friday morning, October 16th, to take a guided tour through Telluride’s historic Lone Tree Cemetery to learn about the people who lived, died, and were buried in Telluride.
The tour will meet at the cemetery’s maintenance shed (almost directly in the middle of the cemetery) at 10AM. There is some walking – including up hill on uneven terrain – so wear comfortable, appropriate shoes. Tour will take place rain or shine, and may be delayed or cancelled because of lightning. The museum will only issue refunds in the event that it cancels. No refunds will be issued for any customer’s weather-related cancellation or no-show.
The Lone Tree Cemetery is located on the eastern side of town on Colorado Ave./Main St. All ticket-holders are responsible for getting to and from the cemetery on their own. The cemetery is about a 15-20 minute walk from the County Courthouse on Colorado Avenue. There is some street parking located to the east of the cemetery on East Columbia Ave. as well as off of Colorado Avenue near the main entrance to the cemetery. The Galloping Goose free bus service also drops off across the street from the Colorado Avenue gate. To learn more about the bus service click here.
This tour has a limit of 26 people.
